Another Lake Michigan Sunset

Last night's sunset was pretty awesome. Not sure where the purple came from, there wasn't actually any so my camera must have done that! Made for a nice picture though... The clouds were incredible, all strewn across the sky like that. Wow. I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for other amazing sunsets like this one this summer so visit again to see more pictures!

These aren't the best pictures, but the sunset Friday night was absolutely incredible. Even in winter we have the most fabulous sunsets here on Lake Michigan. The first one was taken on my way out of Spring Lake heading into Grand Haven. Yes, I was driving and taking pictures. (Don't worry mom, it was safer than on that bridge in California=) The second one I was sitting at the end of Sam and Jeff's street at the stop sign. Our spectacular sunsets are one reason I love living in the Tri-Cities area.

Last night I took a walk on the beach and the pier. I always find that to be incredibly relaxing. It was a bit breezy and cool, but not unbearable. The sky was clear; a perfect night for pictures. Here are some that I took. Maybe when you see how beautiful it is here you will come and visit!!
